Honey-Garlic Glazed Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • Lemon slices, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the honey sauce
    Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes in a medium bowl.

  2. Season the Salmon:
    Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Sear the Salmon:
    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon, skin-side up, for about 6 minutes. Flip and cook 2-3 minutes longer.

  4. Make the Glaze:
    Add the garlic to the skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant for about 1 minute Then, stir in the glaze sauce and sliced lemons and cook until the sauce is reduced by about 1/3.

  5. Glaze and Finish:
    Spoon glaze over fillets, and cook until salmon is fully coated and heated through.

  6. Serve:
    Garnish with lemon slices. Serve immediately.
